Song of Silence

Production design for a short film set in a dystopian, post third-world-war, all-female settlement. Led by Greta, the community survives through strict rituals and non-verbal communication after having their tongues cut out. The return of Greta’s son, the first man to enter the village in years, destabilises the system and forces the women to confront the rules that protect them.
